What a desolate blog this is. The last entry before this was before I even graduated from high school. It's eery to look back at this blog and remember where I was last at that point in my life. Sooooo strange....

Final five days.

Our project isn't done today like it should have been but it's because of some faulty programs. Premiere doesn't like large files apparetnly. We didn't know that until too late though so we have to try to cut our film up into bite size pieces so we can finsish it for tommorow. Hopefully, barring anymore technical issues, we will have our project done soon. I hope.

The Final countdown

We'll have everything for our 20 minute project ready for next monday and we already have our cd cover ready to go. There isn't much else to report on so all in all we're golden.

20 minutes to end soon.

The 20 minute video is on it's way. Ian is taking our footage home to use CS4 and edit it for the end of the week. The movie should be done within the next two days. Everything else is fine so we should be done for this week.

Nearing the end.

Last night we captured a good amount more of our footage and we'll have it in here to work on on monday. The other scene we already have is fully edited and ready to be inserted. Our end credits and assorted titling is done and I'm going to work on the intro today.

Beginning of the week.

Our 20 minute project is coming along. We just have to find a date soon so we can get the last 10 minutes of footage to start editing as soon as possible. There is'nt much we can really do in class as of now so all we can do is try to find a date when we can get together to finish our filming. That last bit of footage is all we're really waiting for.

Big 20.

The screenplay for our 20 minute production is coming along nicely, it's 5 pages as of now. We have a good in depth idea for our movie regardless. We were thinking a horror spoof type comedy. The premises involve ordering a pizza then not knowing what to do with the time to wait for it. So, we check out a haunted house and it'll go from there. We've actually taken some ideas from a list of horror movie cleache's we found on the internet.

20 minute masterpiece film.

We have a great idea for our 20 minute movie we're just conversing about some details and finer points. Screenplay should be no problem as there is no lack of ideads for this project. Our highlights have been a little neglected but I did get some footage last night with one of our other group members.

Indivisual finished.

I've exported my finished indivisual so I don't have to worry about that now. Our start stop still needs some soundwork but it's almost done and should be ready to go for export by the end of today. All is in order overall so we should all be ready for the final nine weeks.

The end of start stop animation.

Our start stop animation is almost done. We just need a few more voice overs and that's it. Furthermore, music needs to be layered in. My indivisual is coming along nicely with some basic footage and simple effects. I need to do voiceovers but those will be more of a finishing touch.

New Indivisuals

We have made just about all our footage for our stop start and my indivisual is coming along nicely. I have a decent concept and lots of ideas. I will be making fun of the Cia's recruiting during the coldwar era. Otherwise all is in order for the time being and I have plenty to work with.

Start-stop3

We have our first 2 scenes filmed and edited now. We got the start of our 3rd scene captured today. Editing thus far has proved lengthy and time consuming but the results are solid. Other than that, our swimming highlights are being worked on as we speak and all seems to be in order for the time being.

Start-stop.

We got 2 vital scenes filmed yesterday. Unfortunately I forgot the camera at home. So, we can't do much with our start-stop animation today. On the other hand we are putting plans in place to avoid further problems with our start-stop project. Our mini-doc has finally been finished this past week. It took too long because of some obvious group cooperation problems. I have tried to keep things calm but to no avail.

Stop-start animation.

Our basic story line is as follows: Our inanimate object characters are Gi-joes. They are on a mission throughout the whole movie to try to blow up the earth with an ancient construct embedded in a local high school's athletic track. The whole time, there is another story that crosses over theirs and kind of thwarts them accidentally at every turn.

The new semester.

Several new projects are coming up for this semester. One of which is a start-stop animation project. Me and my partner had some ideas right off the bat. One of our main characters could be G.I. Joe while the antagonist would be some manner of clay monster. Then there is a live production project with the new equipment. We have some preliminary ideas but nothing solid yet. As for today, we're finishing our min-doc by adding some creative transitions and sprucing it up in general.

dead-lines arise.

The dead line is rapidly approaching and we have about 68 percent on our mini-doc. I am starting to work on my indivisual edit project. It has a skeleton and a little meat to it so I have a good start. Other than that, we should be able to finish on time but we need to work harder to achieve that goal.

Mini-doc.progress

We've made progress on our Mini doc. We have all our material together now and now it just comes down to editing. While Ian is working on that I will be working on my indivisual music video.

We have our videos together for our mini-doc. Ian is going over them for scenes to use in our commentaries. I plan to start my indivisual edit while we are capturing our clips later this week.
As it stands we have our skeleton laid out for the mini-doc. Other than that, all's well.
